Biggest Gathering Of Lawyers- More Than Four Thousand Lawyers To Participate In 3 Day National Conference Of Adhivakta Parishad

Akhil Bharatiya Adhivaktha Parishad is organizing its 16th National Conference, at Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra, Haryana, from 26 to 28 December with the theme of 75 years of Resurgent Bharat-Changing Contours of Law and Justice.

Around 4000 Lawyers from more than 500 districts across India from Kashmir to Kanyakumari, will be participating in the Conference.

Justice Surya Kant, Judge, Supreme Court of India will inaugurate the 16th National Conference at 2.30 pm on 26 December. Justice G S Ahluwalia, Judge High Court of Madhya Pradesh, Gwalior Bench, Justice Swaran Kanta Sharma, Judge, High Court of Delhi, Baldev Raj Mahajan, Advocate General, Haryana, Mukesh Garg, Member, Law Commission, Haryana, will be the Chief Guests. Senior Advocate K Srinivasa Murthy, the President of Akhil Bharatiya Adhivakta Parishad will deliver the Presidential Address.

In the two-day conference, delegates and the legal luminaries and Scholars will deliberate on several, organizational, legal, social, and national issues. General Secretary, ABAP, D. Bharat Kumar, Advocate Supreme Court will discuss new issues to be taken up by the organization.

Union Law Minister Kiren Rijiju will address the delegates on the topic of New Challenges and Opportunities before the Indian Judicial System.

Prashant Singh, Advocate General, Madhya Pradesh will be the guest of Honour.

The delegates will deliberate on the resolutions to be passed at the conference on various social and legal issues. Mahamandleshwara Gita Manishi Swami Shri Gyananand Ji Maharaj will initiate discourse on Shrimad Bhagavad Geeta.

Dr. Aditi Choudhary, Director (Academics)-Cum- Officiating Chairperson, Judicial Academy Delhi, and Dr. Seethalakshmi (Usha) Member, Advisory Committee, Gender Equality, and Women's Empowerment, Government of Madhya Pradesh, will discuss the issues of "Quest for Identity: "Her" Journey from 1947- Road Ahead" and "Women Work Force in Bharath" Quest for Recognition, Equal Rights and Justice"

Cultural programmes have been arranged for the delegates.

Vikramjeet Banerjee, Additional Solicitor General of India Supreme Court of India, and Rajo Kuppan, Advocate, will deliberate on the topic of International Relations.

Justice G R Swaminathan, Judge, Madras High Court will deliver a talk on "77 years or Resurgent Bharath Time for Bharatiya Jurisprudence".

On 28 December, the 16th National Conference will conclude with the Valedictory at 12.20 pm.
