The Delhi High Court on Wednesday directed the Delhi Police to file a status report, listing the steps taken to ensure covid protocol is being followed in Sadar Bazaar.

The Bench of Justice Rekha Palli was hearing a plea by Shalen Bhardwarj seeking strict adherence to covid appropriate behaviour in Sadar Bazaar and action against erring police officials.

On the previous date of hearing, the Court directed the petitioner to file an amended copy of the memo of parties for impleading the 2 erring officers.

The Court directed all covid protocols should be followed by the police and same to be enforced in Sadar bazaar and file a status report regarding the same

The Court will hear the matter next on 25th March.
