SC Collegium Appoints 3 Judges As Permanent Judges In Kerala HC, Recommends Extension of Justice Abhay Ahuja's Tenure

The Supreme Court Collegium has approved the proposal for the appointment of three Additional Judges as Permanent Judges in the Kerala High Court.

The details of the appointment are as follows-

Kerala High Court

Justice Abdul Rahim Musaliar Badharudeen appointed as Permanent Judge of the Kerala High Court

Justice Viju Abraham appointed as Permanent Judge of the Kerala High Court

Justice Mohammed Nias C.P appointed as Permanent Judge of the Kerala High Court

Further, the Collegium has also recommended the appointment of Justice Abhay Ahuja as Additional Judge of the Bombay High Court for a fresh term of one-year w.e.f. March 4, 2023.

"The Supreme Court Collegium on 09 December 2022 has resolved to recommend that Shri Justice Abhay Ahuja be appointed as Additional Judge of the Bombay High Court for a fresh term of one year w.e.f. 04 March 2023.", the Collegium statement read.
