Book Written By Dr. Uday P. Warunjikar To Be Released By Justice B. R. Gavai & Justice Abhay Oka

Under the auspices of the Bar Council of Maharashtra & Goa and the Warunjikar Insitute of Rule of Law, book titled "The Gender Justice, Human Rights And P.C.& P.N.D.T. Act, 1994- Critical Apprisal of Statutory And Judicial Perspectives" will be released on May 17.

The books authored by Advocate Dr. Uday Prakash Warunjikar will be released by Justice Bushan R.Gavai and Justice Abhay S. Oka, Judges of the Supreme Court in a function to be held in the New Maharashtra Bhavan Sadan, Kasturbha Gandhi Marg, Near Baroda House, New Delhi.

The function will begin at 5 pm and will also be attended by Dr. Bharati P. Pawar, Minister of State, Health and Family Welfare, Justice Ravindra C. Chavan (Retd.), Vice Chairman, E Committee, Supreme Court, Senior Advocate Manan Kumar Mishra, Chairman, Bar Council of India, Senior Advocate Shyam Divan, Vice-President, Bar Association of India and President-Elect, LAWASIA and Advocate Vasant D. Salunkhe, Chairman, Bar Council of Maharashtra & Goa.

Jayant D. Jaibhave, Member, BCI and Rajendra B. Umap, Vice Chairman, BCMG and other members of BCMG will be special invitees.

As per the Author, the Book attempts to analyse all the nuances in respect of the Pre-Conception and Pre-Natal Diagnostic Techniques Act, 1994 and will prove to be a significant document for Judicial Officers, Medical Practitioners, Advocates as well as Social Workers.
