RGNUL Is Organising Certificate Course On International Humanitarian Law

Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law (RGNUL) Center for advanced study in international humanitarian law is organising certificate course on international humanitarian law.


Date of Event: 26-29th September 2022


Objective of Event: The Objective of the course of international humanitarian law is to make students understand that IHL does not stop the war although it limits the effects of war. It covers two areas:

➢ The protection of those who are not, or no longer, taking part in fighting.

➢ Restrictions on the means of warfare – in specific weapons – and the methods of warfare, such as military tactics.


Theme of Event: "Relevance of IHL in the contemporary world: Issues and Challenges".


Resource person: Prof. (DR.) Marco Sassoli (Professor of International Law at the University of Geneva)


Registration fees: INR 200. No fees for RGNUL students
