Centre Notifies Appointment Of 9 Additional Judges In Calcutta High Court On Sunday

The Ministry of Law and Justice has notified the appointment of 9 Additional Judges in the Calcutta High Court. The Notification was issued on Sunday.

The details of the appointment are as follows:

Calcutta High Court

• Judicial Officer Biswaroop Chowdhury appointed as Additional Judge of the Calcutta HC

• Judicial Officer Partha Sarathi Sen appointed as Additional Judge of the Calcutta HC

• Judicial Officer Prasenjit Biswas appointed as Additional Judge of the Calcutta HC

• Judicial Officer Uday Kumar appointed as Additional Judge of the Calcutta HC

• Judicial Officer Ajay Kumar Gupta appointed as Additional Judge of the Calcutta HC

• Judicial Officer Supratim Bhattacharya appointed as Additional Judge of the Calcutta HC

• Judicial Officer Partha Sarathi Chatterjee appointed as Additional Judge of the Calcutta HC

• Judicial Officer Apurba Sinha Ray appointed as Additional Judge of the Calcutta HC

• Judicial Officer Md. Shabbar Rashidi appointed as Additional Judge of the Calcutta HC

The appointments have been made for a period of two years with effect from the date they assume charge of their respective offices.
