The Centre has appointed Six Senior Advocates as Additional Solicitor Generals (ASGs) for the Supreme Court of India.

The Notification was issued by the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions yesterday.

The following persons have been appointed as ASGs:

(i) Shri S. Dwarakanath

(ii) Ms. Archana Pathak Dave

(iii) Shri Satya Darshi Sanjay

(iv) Shri Brijender Chahar

(v) Shri Raghavendra P. Shankar

(vi) Shri Rajkumar Bhaskar Thakare (Raja Thakare)

"The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the proposal for appointment of following 06 Senior Advocates as Additional Solicitor General for India in the Supreme Court of India for a period of 03 years with effect from the date of assumption of charge of the office, or until further orders, whichever is earlier", says the notification.
