Allahabad High Court Summons S.P. Traffic After Woman Lawyer Had To Run To Reach Court On Time
The Allahabad High Court has directed the S.P. Traffic of Prayagraj to appear before the Court after a woman lawyer had to run to the Court because of traffic to reach on time for her case.
Advocate Saher Naqvi narrated that few police personnel were present on road but were unable to manage the jam and parking of vehicles.
"Ms. Saher Naqvi, a young lawyer has faced wrath of haphazardly parked number of vehicles around the High Court and she has to park her car about 1 km from the gate of High Court and she has to run to reach this Court before 4 P.M. so that her case may not be dismissed for want of prosecution. She narrated that few police personnel were present on road who were unable to manage the jam and parking of vehicles.", the bench of Justice Saurabh Shyam Shamshery observed.
Senior Advocate Amrendra Nath Singh also echoed her plight requesting the Court to pass an appropriate decision in this regard.
The Court directed thus "S.P.Traffic, Prayagraj is directed to appear before this Court on the next date fixed with appropriate plan to manage the traffic and parking around the High Court for free ingress and outgress."
The Court put up the matter for hearing on September 23, 2022.
The Court also directed Senior Counsel Amrendra Nath Singh to remain present on the next date to assist the Court.
