Supreme Court Collegium Recommends Appointment Of Judges Of 7 High Courts
The Supreme Court Collegium comprising CJI D.Y. Chandrachud, Justice S.K. Kaul, and Justice Sanjiv Khanna has recommended the appointment of Judges of the seven High Courts.
The following have been recommended for appointment as High Court Judges:
Advocates
• Advocate Laxminarayana Alishetty and Advocate Anil Kumar Jukanti for the appointment as Judges of the Telangana High Court.
• Advocate Ranjan Sharma and Advocate Bipin Chander Negi for the appointment as Judges of the Himachal Pradesh High Court.
Judicial Officers
• Judicial Officer Sujana Kalasikam for the appointment as a Judge of the Telangana High Court.
• Judicial Officer Rakesh Kainthla for the appointment as a Judge of the Himachal Pradesh High Court.
Additional Judges as Permanent Judges
• Justice Krishna Rao, Justice Bibhas Ranjan De, and Justice Ajoy Kumar Mukherjee for the appointment as permanent Judges of the Calcutta High Court.
• Justice Anil Laxman Pansare and Justice Sandipkumar Chandrabhan More for the appointment as permanent Judges of the Bombay High Court.
• Justice Deepak Kumar Tiwari for the appointment as a permanent Judge of the Chhattisgarh High Court.
• Justice Kakheto Sema, Justice Devashis Baruah, Justice Malasri Nandi, Justice Marli Vankung, and Justice Arun Dev Choudhury for the appointment as permanent Judges of the Gauhati High Court.
