Supreme Court Collegium Recommends Names To Be Appointed As Judges Of Madhya Pradesh And Gujarat High Courts
The Supreme Court Collegium comprising Chief Justice D Y Chandrachud, Justice Sanjiv Khanna and Justice B R Gavai has recommended the following names to be appointed as Judges of different High Courts.
Advocates Deepak Khot and Pavan Kumar Dwivedi@ Pavan Dwivedi as Judges of Madhya Pradesh High Court
The Notification, dated 9 January read, “The Collegium, therefore, is of the considered view that Shri Deepak Khot is fit and suitable for appointment as a Judge of the High Court of Madhya Pradesh… The Collegium, therefore, is of the considered view that Shri Pavan Kumar Dwivedi is fit and suitable for appointment as a Judge of the High Court of Madhya Pradesh”.
Judicial Officer Ramkumar Choubey as Judge of the Madhya Pradesh High Court
“The enquiries made by us with reliable sources to ascertain suitability of the candidate reveal that Shri Ramkumar Choubey is a competent officer suitable for elevation to the High Court. His service record shows that he has mostly been rated as a “Very Good/Excellent” officer”, the Notification, dated 9 January read.
Advocate Pranav Shailesh Trivedi as Judge of the Gujarat High Court
The Notification, dated 9 January read, “we, therefore, endorse the observations made in the file by the Department of Justice while referring back the above proposal for positive consideration and are of the considered view that Shri Pranav Shailesh Trivedi is fit and suitable for being elevated as a Judge of the High Court of Gujarat”.
