Justice Sanjay Karol To Be The Chief Guest At Event By Bharatiya Bhasha Abhiyan On Use Of Indian Languages In The Field Of Law & Justice
Justice Sanjay Karol of the Supreme Court will be the Chief Guest at the event on the subject "Indian languages in the field of law and justice" which will be held in Delhi on Wednesday, 4th October 2023.
The event is being organised by Bharatiya Bhasha Abhiyan. The event will start at 4:30 PM at the VK Krishna Menon Auditorium (Indian Society of International Law- ISIL) near the Supreme Court of India.
Justice Karol will share the dias with Justice Prashant Kumar Mishra of the Supreme Court Judge and Justice Rekha Palli of the Delhi High Court, who are the Special Guests at the event.
Other prominent guests at the event will be Senior Advocate Manan Kumar Mishra, the Chairman of the Bar Council of India, Dr. Anju Wali Tiku, Dean of the Faculty of Law at Delhi University.
Advocate Rohit Pandey, Secretary of Supreme Court Advocates Association, Atul Bhai Kothari, National Secretary of Education Culture Upliftment Trust and Advocate Kameshwar Nath Mishra of National Co-Convenor of Bharatiya Bhasha Abhiyan will also attend the event as Special Guests.
The Bhartiya Bhasha Abhiyan aims to incorporate the Hindi Language into the Country's Judiciary system. The Abhiyan proposes that all work in the Supreme Court and High Courts be conducted in all 22 official languages. Moreover, Abhiyan recommends that Indian languages be appropriately recognized in the computerization of courts, judicial bodies, e-governance, and other related areas.
