Centre Notifies Extension Of Tenure Of Two Additional Judges While Making One Additional Judge Permanent, In Two High Courts
The Ministry of Law and Justice has notified extension of tenure of two additional judges from the Chhattisgarh High Court and one judge from the Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh High Court by one year. It has also notified the appointment of one additional judge of Chhattisgarh High Court as a judge of that court.
Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh High Court
- Justice Wasim Sadiq
The notification reads, “In exercise of the power conferred by clause (1) of Article 224 of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to appoint Shri Justice Wasim Sadiq Nargal, Additional Judge of High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, to be an Additional Judge of that High Court for a period of one year w.e.f. 03.06.2024.”
Chhattisgarh High Court
- Justice Sachin Singh Rajput
- Justice Radhakishan Agrawal
The notification reads, “In exercise of the power conferred by clause (1) of Article 224 of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to appoint S/ShriJustices (i) Sachin Singh Rajput and (ii) Radhakishan Agrawal, Additional Judges of High Court of Chhattisgarh, to be Additional Judges of High Court of Chhattisgarh for a period of one year w.e.f. 16.05.2024 and 02.08.2024 respectively.”

The notification reads, “In exercise of the power conferred by clause (1) of Article 217 of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to appoint Shri Justice Rakesh Mohan Pandey, Additional Judge of the High Court of Chhattisgarh, to be Judge of that High Court with effect from the date he assumes charge of his office.”
