Justice Manindra Mohan Shrivastava Appointed Acting CJ Of Rajasthan HC, One Additional Judge Appointed In J&K&L High Court
The Ministry of Law and Justice Department has notified the appointment of Justice Manindra Mohan Shrivastava as the Acting Chief Justice of the Rajasthan High Court. He will take up the responsibility upon the retirement of Justice Shinde Sambhaji Shiwaji, Chief Justice, Rajasthan High Court.
"In exercise of the power conferred by Article 223 of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to appoint, Shri Justice Manindra Mohan Shrivastava, senior-most Judge of the Rajasthan High Court, to perform the duties of the office of the Chief Justice of the Rajasthan High Court, with effect from 02.08.2022 consequent upon the retirement of Shri Justice Shinde Sambhaji Shiwaji, Chief Justice, Rajasthan High Court.", the notification issued by the Law Ministry read.
Apart from this, Judicial Officer Rajesh Sekhri, has been appointed as the Additional Judge of the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh.
"In exercise of the power conferred by clause (l) of Article 224 of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to appoint Shri Rajesh Sekhri, to be an Additional Judge of the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, for a period of two years, with effect from the date he assumes charge of his office.", the notification issued on 27th July read.
