Supreme Court Collegium Recommends Names For Appointment As Judges in Delhi, Patna, And Andhra Pradesh High Courts
The Supreme Court Collegium in its meeting held on May 4th, 2022 has approved the names of the following as Judges of Delhi, Patna, and Andhra Pradesh High Courts. In addition, the Collegium has also recommended the names of two High Court Chief Justices for elevation to the Supreme Court.
- Delhi High Court
The SC Collegium has recommended the names of the following Advocates as Judges –
i) Mr. Vikas Mahajan
ii) Mr. Tushar Rao Gedela
iii) Ms. Manmeet Pritam Singh Arora
iv) Mr. Sachin Datta
v) Mr. Amit Mahajan
vi) Mr. Gaurang Kanth and
vii) Mr. Saurabh Banerjee.
- Patna High Court
The SC Collegium has recommended the names of the following Judicial Officers as Judges –
i) Mr. Shailendra Singh
ii) Mr. Arun Kumar Jha
iii) Mr. Jitendra Kumar
iv) Mr. Alok Kumar Pandey
v) Mr. Sunil Dutta Mishra
vi) Mr. Chandra Prakash Singh, and
vii) Mr. Chandra Shekhar Jha.
- Andhra Pradesh High Court
The SC Collegium has recommended the name of the following Advocate as Judge –
i) Mr. Mehabub Subhani Shaik @ S.M. Subhani
