Centre Notifies Transfer Of 15 High Court Judges As Recommended By The Supreme Court Collegium
Fifteen High Court Judges have been transferred as notified by the Centre on Tuesday.
The Central Government on Tuesday notified the transfer of the following 15 High Court Judges –
1) Justice Ravi Nath Tilhari of Allahabad High Court transferred to Andhra Pradesh High Court
2) Justice Anoop Chitkara of Himachal Pradesh High Court transferred to Punjab & Haryana High Court
3) Justice Chandra Dhari Singh of Allahabad High Court transferred to Delhi High Court
4) Justice Vivek Aggarwal of Allahabad High Court transferred to Madhya Pradesh High Court
5) Justice Yashwant Varma of Allahabad High Court transferred to Delhi High Court
6) Justice Ananta Manohar Badar of Kerala High Court transferred to Patna High Court
7) Justice Arindam Sinha of Calcutta High Court transferred to Orissa High Court
8) Justice Mamidanna Satya Ratna Sri Ramachandra Rao of Telangana High Court transferred to Punjab & Haryana High Court
9) Justice Paresh Ravishanker Upadhyay of Gujarat High Court transferred to Madras High Court
10) Justice Ujjal Bhuyan of Bombay High Court transferred to Telangana High Court
11) Justice Ahsanuddin Amanullah of Patna High Court transferred to Andhra Pradesh High Court
12) Justice Manindra Mohan Srivastava of Chhattisgarh High Court transferred to Rajasthan High Court
13) Justice Sanjaya Kumar Mishra of Orissa High Court transferred to Uttarakhand High Court
14) Justice Sabina of Rajasthan High Court transferred to Himachal Pradesh High Court
15) Justice Jaswant Singh of Punjab & Haryana High Court transferred to Orissa High Court
Earlier, the Supreme Court had recommended the transfer/re-transfer of 17 High Court Judges in its meeting held on 16 September 2021.
Two recommendations of the collegium that are yet to be acted upon by the center are, transfer of Justice T. S. Sivagnanam from Madras High Court to Calcutta High Court and the transfer of Justice Somen Sen from Calcutta High Court to Orissa High Court.
